More than 20 dolls with 3 sizes. more than 10 floating heads. NUTS.
And the worse is SD size. Too many floating heads compared to body i have. Nuts.
I think, i’m going to buy sadol body when i have more money.
And 2015…i must quit or at least absent from purchasing dolls. This is so crazy and unmanaged!
I wish, I can plan everything but Haaaaaa…what a life. I’m a mother now. I have bigger priority. So, these are some kind of things I wish I can do
1. Making a dress.
2. Working on YoSd size body. Make clothes
3. Make bags. New kind of techniques.
4. Boys clothes or pants
5. Batik dresses or clothes.
6. Making clothes for sale
7. Making doll clothes for sale.
Didn’t do almost anycrafting for last 2-3 weeks. Mind and physics have been occupied with kids, future home, money, my super late package which the agent who bought the order for me made excuse for late delivery.
I am making a bag for myself now but the lateness of the supplier of sending the leather strap makes my mood goes down again. The bag is pretty easy to make but I’m in the middle of confusion to use cotton handle or leather one. Whatever. I’m totally not in a good mood to do crafting lately. Don’t know why. Feeling exhausted, desperate, sad, angry, useless, and all at the same time, especially when thinking of making doll clothes. Seems like, I feel angry. I don’t know how. May be because i want to play doll but don’t have time for it lately or even if I can, I’m not enjoying it.
Feel like want to take a break from the whole thing, think again, and start again. Feel like, i’ve been restarting everything many times. I’m getting bored but may be it’s a way that i have to take for a new adventure.
I organized my laces and doll wigs yesterday and today. I think, i’m going fasting from buying those 2 things. And may be doll shoes too. Goodness. I have too lots of them!
It’s a short ‘story’ from me.
I make sewing patterns myself, for doll, for bag, for clothes, etc. Unless I stated otherwise, the pattern is original by ME.
I usually take a measurement myself (unless, I used industrial sizing which is usually for ready-to-wear clothes). For dolls, I take measurement one by one and draft a basic pattern for each. From that, I will derive lots of patterns like simple bustier, casual, dress, etc.
I bought some doll clothes book to learn the technique of sewing. I found that sewing doll clothes is NEW and DIFFERENT from what I’d been learning from sewing course. I also notice how other seamstress sew their beautiful clothes. Sometimes I buy one for learning purpose (whatever…I just love their work (>__>)””…).
I always pursue of original pattern of mine. Not in sewing but also crocheting, etc. Books are for reference but I rarely make one from them. I think, lately, I just read them. (^o^)”’. In crafting, I only take one course which is sewing and it’s not enough. I learn from the book as well. In knitting and crocheting, I learn by myself from books and internet. I’m still learning until now and don’t know when will stop. Every project I make leads me to a new learning no matter how simple it is.
I plan to join some ‘big’ bazaars and some ‘big’ fashion event this year. I’m going to die trying as best as possible and evaluate it in the end of the year. With my current situation, it will be hard, I know. Yet, I want to prove whether it is hard as or harder than my first bazaar experience or not. If it is, well, may, I should try another way to pursue my dream.
